Today is the last day untuk jalan2. But today we went separate ways. My brother with another family continue their adventure to Akaroa. Tengok a huge alpacas farm and dolphin. While us and my parents pusing2 Christchurch.
Too tired to drive more than 1 hour. Plus kesian my mom, still x dpt lagi beli buah2 local produce. Apparently bukan musim nya masa kami datang ni. But we shall see what is in store.
Setelah bertanya dekat motel owner for advice. Kitaorg hari ni jalan2 cari local produce especially the fruits and veggie. And gi cari local fishmarket. Nak makan ikan today. So today kitaorg plan nak shopping for food.
We also stop by at one alpaca farm. Cari2 owner farm utk dpt pegang2 or bergambar dengan alpaca. Tp alpaca je yg dtg. They were quite friendly. Rajin bergambar. Tapi tuan dia x muncul2. Setelah bergambar kami terus menuju ke city center.
We walk around at Re-start mall. A mall set up dengan kontena. Beberapa tahun sudah Christchurch mengalami earthquake so secara simboliknya dia org mula semula dengan konsep ni. Apparently, it is a good concept utk bwk kat malaysia - simple and sempoi konsep kontena ni.
Lepas jalan2 kat situ. Kami ke Lyttletown. Ni katanya small fisherman's village. Very small but unik dgn binaan kedai2 kolonial. Kitaorg mmg suka gi tempat out of touristic area ni. Sempat la lepak kat cafe. Enjoying the environment.
Ooh in between tu... Sempat jugak singgah paknsave and return the backpack. And finally we back home... And straight head to the kitchen.... Kata mak nak masak semua yg dibeli tadi. Untung bawak mak jalan2 sama2 ni.
Near our motel we found a highly rated fish and chips. The third one we try kat NZ ni (selain kat queenstown n milford) but the one kat milford yang paling sedap. tapi yang kat Christchurch ni kedai, so banyak pilihan.
Malam terakhir di Christchurch, jadi semua bahan basah harus dihabiskan. plus makanan yang beli pagi tadi :-)
