So Italy here you go... the PIL has decided. We concentrate only on Italy... so which part of Italy shall we go. I would love to go to the Rome to the south as I've been to few cities on the north. Tapi kat south tu tak banyak tempat yang popular, my PIL prefer those must see places especially Venice dan Pisa. Dan aku plak cakap, instead of giving more time to Rome and the souther part, we can utilise the days to Switzerland. Eh, tu lagi best kan... boleh tengok view cantik dan salji. Sapa tak nak gi Swiss kan.
We've decided to fly to Milan instead of Rome sbb nak lebih ke Utara. So first day dan last day dah set.
To set the itinerary, ni soalan-soalan yang aku nak kena study:
1. Samada nak turun ke Rome first then naik ke atas sampai ke Swiss part. Or the other way around. Ni determine mode of transportation. Perlu ke naik kereta and drive. Any time boleh guna public transport? or perlu naik internal flight or train or boat?
2. What are the highlights and interest? Rome or Venice / Shopping dekat Milan or outlet mall / Switzerland mountains or Cinque Terre / etc etc etc Tgk jugak timing tempat-tempat interest tu. Ada special festival ke masa jalan kat sana?
3. Then berapa lama nak tido kat mana, tu bergantung sangat dengan highlights and interest. Then nak kena pilih la type of accomodation. Ni pun payah jugak ni. Nak dekat dengan places of interest or blh park and ride ke?
4. Apa pula aktiviti anak-anak. Sesuai tak plan nak gi Ufizi gallery bawak bebudak. Or should we skip. Apa aktiviti untuk bebudak? Jarak perjalanan tu sesuai ke bawak budak. Places of interest tu budak-budak appreciate tak or otherwise kita pun mengamuk kalau diaorg boring.
5. Bajet cukup ke pun nak cover semua yang best tu... ni sebenarnya issue utama. Kalau takde bajet constraint... eh semua boleh jalan.
Lagi penat bila ada jauh age gap dan differences in interest dalam satu group. Tapi agak kurang sikit stress kat aku bila plan, sbb aku dah pernah gi sana. So i can kurang kan my expectation dan dah settle with my own interests.
Anyway, for me the best part of travelling is the planning stage. Aku suka berangan dan plan itinerary. So give me all the ideas and opinion and interest. I'll set one which hopefully suited everyone. InsyaAllah.
